<strong>terminate<\/strong> calls from or to local GSM networks. It is a very cost-effective way for SOHO, SMEs to generate and receive calls through the GSM gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, we are using the DWG2000G Business model of Dinstar for example. While you can try this setup on different models. They are having nearly similar functionality on other models also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So as you know we are simple people and we like simple things. That&#8217;s why we divide the process into simple steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_Initialize_the_Dinstar_GSM_Gateway\"><\/span>Step 1:  Initialize the Dinstar GSM Gateway<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The very first step of every technical process is initializing. Let&#8217;s power on the GSM Gateway and connect it with your network or PC using a network cable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Now remember the Dinstar Gateways are by default coming with this static IP: 192.168.11.1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure if you connect it with your network, the IP is not conflicting with any other devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now assign a static IP of the same network as GSM gateway to your PC. For example, assign 192.168.11.2 with the subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway 192.168.11.1. Now you can connect to GSM gateway using your browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now open your preferred browser and type 192.168.11.1 in the address bar and hit enter. Type the username and password and click on sign in. For example, here I am using 172.16.11.241 as my GSM Gateway IP. For this tutorial, we use 172.16.11.240 as the IP address of our FreePBX server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Also, Read <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"More Info about FreePBX. (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.freepbx.org\/#all-updates\" target=\"_blank\">more Info about FreePBX.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_21_Create_SIP_Trunk_in_FreePBX\"><\/span>Step 2.1: Create SIP Trunk in FreePBX<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: We are going to use a single username and password for the authentication of all our extensions. So that we have to create a trunk in our FreePBX server.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create SIP trunk, go to <strong>Connectivity &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;&gt; Trunks<\/strong> and then click on <strong>Add Trunk &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-&gt; Add SIP (chan_sip) Trunk<\/strong>. So that it can communicate with our FreePBX server. See the below steps to reach the correct settings page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong>Call Configuration &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&gt; SIP Configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that fill the <strong>SIP Server Address<\/strong>, In this tutorial we use 172.16.11.240 as our FreePBX server IP. Basically here we map each port with an SIP user account which is created on our FreePBX Server.
